There are plenty of narrow streets and laneways in Europe, and some won’t even fit a Nissan Micra as one driver has learned.

The local government of Mesaria in Greece shared an image on Facebook during the Greek Easter long weekend of a vehicle stuck in a narrow street in Agios Konstantinos.

It said the rental office had been contacted to have the vehicle removed, and the vehicle was successfully removed later that day.

Sadly, there are no photos or videos of the vehicle’s extrication, nor of the damage the car surely received during the whole debacle.

It’s unclear what the driver did after realising their error, though they would have first had to clamber out of the car using the tailgate.

It’s not as though the Micra is a large car, measuring between 1665mm and 1690mm wide.

As Santorini Secrets points out, it’s not the first time an incident like this has happened in Greece. In Santorini, a Lancia Ypsilon driver similarly misjudged the roadway a few years ago.
