Subaru Australia is recalling 2015-21 WRX STI models as their reversing lights may not turn on.
“The reverse lamps may not illuminate and the rear-view reverse camera may not display the rearwards image when reversing as intended,” the company says in its recall notice.
“If the reverse lamps and the rear-view reverse camera do not operate as intended, it could increase the risk of an accident causing serious injury or death to persons located behind the vehicle and/or other road users.”

If you own an affected vehicle, you’ll need to book in at a Subaru dealership to have a free fix carried out.
If you have any further questions, you can contact Subaru Australia’s Customer Relations Team on 1800 22 66 43.
