    2019 Mercedes-Benz Vito

    Mercedes-Benz Australia has recalled the 2019 Vito to fix a problem with the head restraints on the rear bench seats.

    According to the company, some models have been fitted with the wrong head restraints, increasing the risk of whiplash or neck injuries.

    2012-14 Volkswagen Golf, Jetta, Passat, Polo, Caddy

    Volkswagen Australia has recalled the 2012-14 Golf, Jetta, Passat, Polo, and Caddy, to fix a problem with the seven-speed dual-clutch transmission.

    According to the company, a fluid leak in the transmission can lead to ‘pressure loss’.

    When the gearbox loses pressure the car could lose drive, creating a risk of injury or accident for the driver and other road users.

    2016 Renault Clio

    Renault Australia has recalled the 2016 Clio to fix a problem with the rear axle. According to the company, the rear axle bolts might not be tightened correctly.

    If the rear axle isn’t correctly tightened, the roadholding of the car will get worse, increasing the risk of an accident or injury to the driver and other road users.

    2019 Renault Trafic

    Renault Australia has recalled the 2019 Trafic van to fix a problem with the parking brake calipers.

    According to the company, the parking brake calipers might not be manufactured to specification. The parking brake could fail, creating a risk of injury or accident to the driver or other road users.

    2014-15 Renault Clio RS, GT

    Renault Australia has recalled the 2014-15 Clio RS and Clio GT to fix a problem with the rear spoiler.

    The company says the rear spoiler could detach from the car, creating a risk of injury or accident for other road users.

    2013-19 Lexus IS F, LX, IS, GS, LS, NX, RX, LC, RX

    Lexus Australia has recalled nine models to fix a problem with the fuel pump.

    According to the company, the fuel pump could stop operating. If that happens, the engine could stall and the car might not restart.

    Lexus says warning lights and messages will appear on the dashboard, and the car might also run rough.
