Mercedes-Benz Australia has recalled the 2020 and 2021GLB crossover to fix a problem with the tailgate.

“The side spoilers at the tailgate may not have been mounted correctly,” Mercedes-Benz says in its recall notice.

“A side spoiler may detach from the vehicle whilst it is being driven. This would increase the risk of an accident causing injury or death of other road users.”

    • A total of 61 cars are included in their recall notice
    • A VIN list of affected vehicles is attached here
    • The original recall notice is attached here

Mercedes-Benz will contact owners of the affected vehicles and advise them to arrange a free fix with their nearest dealer.
