Mercedes-Benz Australia has recalled the 2020 and 2021 GLB crossover to fix a problem with the tailgate.
“The side spoilers at the tailgate may not have been mounted correctly,” Mercedes-Benz says in its recall notice.
“A side spoiler may detach from the vehicle whilst it is being driven. This would increase the risk of an accident causing injury or death of other road users.”

Mercedes-Benz will contact owners of the affected vehicles and advise them to arrange a free fix with their nearest dealer.
