Hundreds of Suzuki owners ready to 'Swarm' Victoria

Hyundai has the N Festival, and Isuzu has its I-Venture Club. Now, Suzuki has the Swarm.

Set to descend on Narbethong in Victoria this weekend, the owner’s gathering features games, a charity raffle, and a drive.

No, the drive won’t be off road – Suzuki says some of its cars aren’t designed to head off the beaten track, and no one is meant to be left behind.

Still, we’d love to a see a Swift, a Baleno, and a Kizashi try to follow a Jimny up a rough off-road trail…

Suzuki is expecting more than 200 cars and 400 people to show up, in a range of cars from its more than five decades in Australia.

The brand is hosting similar events across Australia this year, having debuted the concept with a Jimny-specific Swarm in 2023.

New South Wales, South Australia, and Western Australia have already been swarmed, and the Victorian event is sold out, but registrations are still open for Queensland and Tasmania.

Owner gatherings and event have become a popular way for car brands to engage with their most enthusiastic buyers in Australia.

Over at Hyundai, the annual N Festival sees hundreds of owners roar to a track for a weekend of petrol-fuelled noise and speed, while Isuzu I-Venture Club helps D-Max and MU-X owners go further off-road with coaching and guided trips.

Most of the German luxury car brands hold drive days for their high-end performance brands as well, allowing buyers to experience their cars at the sort of speeds that would get you locked up on Australian highways.
