The Suzuki Jimny Heritage edition will make a return to Australian showrooms, fitted exclusively with an automatic transmission for the first time.

Suzuki Australia has confirmed the special three-door variant of the pint-size off-road SUV will be limited to 300 units. It's now available to order, priced from $42,490 – a premium of $1500.

It follows the previous 300-unit run of Jimny Heritage vehicles offered in Australia in 2023, which were fitted with a manual transmission only. A five-door Jimny Heritage was introduced in 2024, again sold only in manual from.

“This is it: these 300 individually numbered vehicles, from 301 to 600, will be the final Jimny three-door Heritage limited edition models sold in Australia,” said Suzuki Australia general manager Michael Pachota in a statement.

The Heritage treatment sees the regular Jimny given red front and rear mudflaps, a Jimny Heritage cargo tray, Heritage exterior graphics and a build number badge.

The standard price includes Superior White paint, with Jungle Green or Medium Grey (the two other colours available) adding $745 to the price.

The Heritage is powered by a 1.5-litre four-cylinder petrol engine making 75kW/130Nm, accompanied by a four-speed automatic and dual-range four-wheel drive.

Standard equipment includes 15-inch alloy wheels, 210mm of ground clearance, a leather-wrapped steering wheel, 9.0-inch centre infotainment screen, and both wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.

Like other automatic versions of the Jimny, it also has adaptive cruise control.

The Jimny Heritage follows the limited-edition five-door Jimny Rhino introduced with a $7500 price premium over the five-door XL it’s based on, priced at $44,990 before on-road costs.

The Rhino, a name seen for the first time on an Australian Suzuki model, added cosmetic changes including unique diamond-cut alloy wheels and a ‘Rhino Go Pack’ comprising themed merchandise.

The Jimny is Suzuki Australia’s best-seller, with 4971 examples sold between January and August 2026, more than double the 2015 sales of its second most popular model, the Swift light hatch, and more than quadruple the 1032 sales of its newest nameplate, the Fronx small SUV.
