Genesis is recalling more than 2000 examples of its GV70 and GV80 crossover SUVs and G80 sedan as a manufacturing defect could potentially lead to a fire.
"Due to a manufacturing defect, the fuel pipe connecting fuel rails may become loose. This may lead to a fuel leak and in the presence of an external ignition source, could result in a vehicle fire," the company says in its recall notice.
"A vehicle fire could cause injury or death to the vehicle occupants, other road users and/or damage to property."

If you own an affected vehicle, Genesis will contact you and direct you to schedule an appointment with an authorised service centre for a free inspection and repair.
If you have any further questions, you can contact Genesis Customer Care on 1800 186 306.
