A Ford Ranger owner in the Philippines has discovered the consequences of parking in the wrong place at the wrong time.
An image posted to Facebook by Pinget Barangay – a Filipino government region about four hours north of Manila – shows the bed of a Ford Ranger overfilled with garbage, with more bags of trash loaded up at its front and rear.
Though it might seem like it’s been piled that way for a practical purpose, a second post by Sangguniang Panlungsod ng Baguio (the City Government of Baguio) includes a comment which suggests the garbage has been put there out of malice.
“Reminder to car owners: Please make sure you do not park in areas designated by barangays for trash pick-up,” it says.
It’s not known whether the Ranger driver copped a fine or any official reprimand for parking where they shouldn’t, but it appears guerilla justice was served.
It’s also a good demonstration about just how many garbage bags you can fit in the bed, though unlike what we see here, it’s suggested to at least secure them properly.
