We mightn’t celebrate Thanksgiving in Australia, but Hyundai is celebrating Black Friday with savings of up to $10,500 on Ioniq 6s.
From Friday, November 24 to Monday, November 27, Hyundai is offering a “complimentary trim upgrade” if you order a MY23 Ioniq 6.
If you go to order a rear-wheel drive Dynamiq, you’ll receive a complimentary upgrade to the all-wheel drive Techniq – an offer with a value of $10,500.
Likewise, if you go to order an all-wheel drive Techniq, you’ll receive a complimentary upgrade to the flagship all-wheel drive Epiq, an offer value of $5288.

For reference, MY23 before on-roads pricing for the Ioniq 6 is as follows:
Hyundai says there are approximately 600 MY23 Ioniq 6 sedans available nationwide.
You can use the brand’s online stock locator tool to find vehicles.

The company is getting ready to roll out a rejigged Ioniq 6 range in the first quarter of 2024, headlined by a new, more affordable base variant available with a smaller battery.
Unlike the MY23 range, which offers only a 77.4kWh battery, the MY24 Ioniq 6 will also offer a 53kWh battery.
The new unnamed base model will come without some of the Dynamiq’s niceties, including leather upholstery and a head-up display, but offer a sharper price tag of $65,500 before on-roads.
You can also specify the carryover 77.4kWh battery, bringing the price up to $71,500 before on-roads.

Various specification changes have also been made to the Dynamiq and Epiq, which you can read about in our detailed price and specs article.
The MY24 range now appears in Hyundai’s configurator. You can use this to find out how long it’ll take for you to get the keys to a new car.
