Honda Australia has announced pricing and specifications for its updated ZR-V range, marking the next step in the Japanese brand's efforts to make its hybrid vehicles more accessible and more affordable.
Still offered in four grades, the mid-size SUV lineup now comprises three hybrid ZR-V e:HEV grades (two cheaper alternatives to the existing flagship e:HEV LX have been introduced), alongside the sole remaining petrol-only option, the VTi X, at the bottom of the range.
While base pricing has gone up by $2000 to $39,900 drive-away, prices have come down by $3000 for the flagship ZR-V e:HEV LX – now $51,900 drive-away.
The addition of e:HEV variants further down the range also means the entry price for a ZR-V e:HEV has been reduced by $11,500 compared to the start of 2025.

There have been practically no tweaks to the ZR-V's design, despite a lightly facelifted model being revealed in Japan earlier this year. Instead, this update focuses primarily on tech enhancements and the aforementioned lineup changes.
As such, the SUV now features the second-generation Honda Connect system, with buyers receiving a three-year subscription at purchase. This encompasses a raft of connected features, including car status reports, geofencing, remote control of systems such as climate control, a digital key, and location search, among others.
Furthermore, the ZR-V's infotainment system gets Google built in, enabling apps such as Google Maps and Google Play, while there have been safety improvements such as the addition of post-collision braking.
The tweaks to Honda's middle-child SUV follow those recently applied to the larger CR-V, which is now available in four e:HEV variants (up from one), bringing the price of hybrid power down dramatically.
Orders are now open for the updated ZR-V range, with first deliveries expected to commence later this month.
