Honda ZR-V, Civic and Accord recalled

Honda Australia is recalling over 500 vehicles across its ZR-V, Civic and Accord lines to fix a part of their front seats which don't meet local regulations.

"Due to a manufacturing issue, the left-side seatback frame edge on the driver and passenger seats may not meet the minimum radius requirements of the Australian Design Rule (ADR) 3/04 - Seats and Seat Anchorages," the company says in its recall notice.

"In the event of an accident, contact with the seatback frame edge could increase the risk of injury to vehicle occupants."

• A total of 554 vehicles are affected, including Civics from model years 2024 to 2026, ZR-Vs from model years 2023 to 2025, and the MY25 Accord

If you own an affected vehicle, you'll need to schedule an appointment with an authorised Honda Australia dealership to have the work carried out, free of charge.
