As with the normal Golf GTI colour range, Volkswagen only charges a $300 premium for its Kings Red premium metallic finish, with all five other options available at no additional cost.
It’s backed by a five-year, unlimited-kilometre warranty.
Volkswagen’s updated ‘Mk8.5’ Golf GTI is due in Australia early next year.
The facelifted GTI – along with the wider Golf range – will bring a new infotainment system with simpler menus, as well as illuminated touch controls and physical steering wheel buttons.
It also receives a 15kW power bump, with its 2.0-litre turbocharged four-cylinder engine’s output increased to 195kW.
