The ACCC has put out an official recall for the 2018-21 Lamborghini Aventador SVJ Coupe and SVJ 63.
“The hood hinges may loosen and may not hold the hood closed. The hood may unlatch and flip open or detach from the vehicle,” Lamborghini says in its recall notice
“If the hood flips open or detaches from the vehicle, there is an increased risk of an accident and injury or death to vehicle occupants or other road users.”

Automobili Lamborghini SpA will be contacting all owners of affected vehicles.
Once parts arrive owners will be able to arrange an appointment to replace the bonnet hinge screws.
Concerned owners can contact Automobili Lamborghini SpA at customercare@lamborghini.com
