    2021 Lexus IS review

    It's a significant overhaul with lots of plusses, but the latest IS still feels dated and outclassed by more superior rivals. Build quality, though, remains first class

    Pros

    • New design is polished with a more assertive stance
    • Finally there's a functional infotainment unit with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto
    • Dynamically superior to the old car

    Cons

    • Interior layout is looking dated
    • All three engines are outclassed by key rivals
    • No hi-po IS F model, yet
