2012 Lexus IS
The new Lexus IS is a Medium Luxury offered in both 4D Sedan and 2D Convertible body styles. Available in Australia from $55,800 (MLRP, excl. on-roads) for the Prestige variant and topping out at $126,300 for the F.
There are 6 variants of the IS available in Australia and this generation went on sale in July of 2012.
Engine options include 2.5L petrol direct injection (153kW/252Nm), 3.5L petrol direct injection (233kW/378Nm) and 5.0L petrol direct injection (311kW/505Nm). Available with 6-speed automatic or 8-speed automatic transmissions. All variants feature rear-wheel drive.
The new 2012 IS is offered with a 4 year, 100,000 km warranty.
