The new Volkswagen Transporter is a Van Under 3.5t offered in Single Panel Van, Double Cab Chassis and Single Combi body styles. Available in Australia from $32,400 (MLRP, excl. on-roads) for the variant and topping out at $52,500 for the.
Engine options include 2L multi-point injection (85kW/170Nm), 1.9L turbo diesel direct injection (75kW/250Nm), 2.5L turbo diesel direct injection (96kW/340Nm) and 3.2L multi-point injection (173kW/315Nm). Available with 5-speed manual, 6-speed manual or 6-speed automatic transmissions. Both front-wheel drive and four-wheel drive configurations are available.
The new 2007 Transporter is offered with a 3 year, 100,000 km warranty.
