The new Volkswagen Touareg is a Suv Large Luxury offered in a 5D SUV body style. Available in Australia from $62,990 (MLRP, excl. on-roads) for the Bluemotion variant and topping out at $82,990 for the Bluemotion.
There is 1 variant of the Touareg available in Australia and this generation went on sale in July of 2011.
Engine options include 3.0L turbo diesel common rail (180kW/550Nm) and 3.6L petrol direct injection (206kW/360Nm). All variants feature 8-speed automatic transmission. All variants feature four-wheel drive.
The new 2012 Touareg is offered with a 3 year, unlimited km warranty.
