2026 Subaru Solterra review
Pros
- Huge upgrades all round
- Price cuts make it more competitive
- Undeniably premium interior
Cons
- Touring spec isn't the pick
- Driving ergonomics still need work
- Ride could use some fine-tuning

The local Subaru Solterra range starts at $77,990 before on-roads for the entry-level AWD variant, and extends to $83,690 before on-roads for the AWD Touring.
The Australian-specification Solterra range is only available with a dual-motor all-wheel drive setup producing 160kW and 337Nm.
The related Toyota bZ4X, which recently received a running change, is set to launch locally in February 2024 and is available in other markets with a single-motor setup. If this single-motor variant comes to Australia it will likely undercut the dual-motor Solterra.
