Subaru takes WRX Sportswagon off-road with Levorg Layback
3 Years Ago
The Subaru Levorg is a performance-leaning wagon that combined WRX-style mechanical character with family-friendly load space. It is no longer on sale as a new model in Australia, with Subaru's local range now focused more heavily on SUVs and the WRX Sportswagon. The Levorg appealed to buyers who wanted turbocharged performance, all-wheel drive and wagon practicality in one package. Earlier versions were known for strong grip and useful space, although ride comfort and cabin polish varied by generation. It filled a distinctive niche for drivers who needed more practicality than a sedan but wanted something more engaging than a conventional SUV. Its spirit continues in Subaru's performance wagon formula.
