Engine options include 1.8L multi-point injection (76kW/147Nm), 1.6L multi-point injection (66kW/128Nm), 2L turbo multi-point injection (155kW/270Nm) and 2L multi-point injection (85kW/170Nm). Available with 5-speed manual or 4-speed automatic transmissions. Both front-wheel drive and four-wheel drive configurations are available.
The new 1996 Impreza is offered with a 3 year warranty.
