Skoda finally locks in PHEVs for Australia
Australia will receive plug-in hybrid versions of the Skoda Kodiaq and Superb as soon as this year, according to new boss Lucie Kuhn.

2011 Skoda Superb
The new Skoda Superb is a large car offered in a 5D Hatchback body style. Available in Australia from $38,990 (MLRP, excl. on-roads) for the Ambition variant and topping out at $57,990 for the Elegance.
There are 2 variants of the Superb available in Australia and this generation went on sale in March of 2009.
Engine options include 2.0L turbo diesel common rail (103kW/320Nm), 1.8L turbo petrol direct injection (118kW/250Nm) and 3.6L petrol direct injection (191kW/350Nm). Available with 6-speed manual or manual transmissions. Both four-wheel drive and front-wheel drive configurations are available.
The new 2011 Superb is offered with a 3 year, unlimited km warranty.
