The 2025 Outlander had its clearest appeal where the mix of price, packaging, equipment and ownership confidence outweighed novelty. The relevant VFACTS line shows 22,459 Australian sales for the calendar year. That made it relevant to families wanting value, room, warranty coverage and a clear alternative to the RAV4, X-Trail, Sportage, Tucson and CX-5. CarExpert source notes add that the Mitsubishi Outlander is a mid-sized SUV that plays a central role in Mitsubishi's Australian range.
