The new Kia Sorento is a large SUV offered in a 5D SUV body style. Available in Australia from $38,490 (MLRP, excl. on-roads) for the SI variant and topping out at $51,490 for the Platinum.
There are 4 variants of the Sorento available in Australia and this generation went on sale in August of 2011.
Engine options include 2.2L turbo diesel common rail (145kW/436Nm) and 3.5L multi-point injection (204kW/335Nm). Available with 6-speed automatic or 6-speed manual transmissions. Both four-wheel drive and front-wheel drive configurations are available.
The new 2014 Sorento is offered with a 5 year, unlimited km warranty.
