The Korean brand says its recent expansion of hybrid offerings won't come at the expense of diesel SUV models in its local lineup.

About the Kia Sorento
The new Kia Sorento is a large SUV offered in a 5D SUV body style. Available in Australia from $33,990 (MLRP, excl. on-roads) for the LX variant and topping out at $44,790 for the Ex-l.
There are 3 variants of the Sorento available in Australia.
Engine options include 3.3L multi-point injection (180kW/309Nm) and 2.5L turbo diesel common rail (125kW/392Nm). Available with 5-speed automatic or 5-speed manual transmissions. All variants feature four-wheel drive.
The new 2008 Sorento is offered with a 3 year, 100,000 km warranty.
