About the Jeep Cherokee
The new Jeep Cherokee is a small SUV offered in a 5D SUV body style. Available in Australia from $28,000 (MLRP, excl. on-roads) for the Sport variant and topping out at $43,000 for the Limited.
There are 3 variants of the Cherokee available in Australia and this generation went on sale in April of 2009.
Engine options include 3.7L multi-point injection (151kW/314Nm) and 2.8L turbo diesel common rail (147kW/460Nm). Available with 4-speed automatic or 5-speed automatic transmissions. Both four-wheel drive and rear-wheel drive configurations are available.
The new 2012 Cherokee is offered with a 3 year, 100,000 km warranty.
