Isuzu Ute Australia wants at least 10 per cent share for its new workhorse, with most of the gains expected to come from its more sophisticated, safer new 4x4 flagship versions.

The new Isuzu D-Max has finally been detailed for Australia. The starting price is steeper, but there's a full suite of safety kit standard, a sharper exterior, and a more upmarket interior on board.

The 2021 Isuzu D-Max is here. It's now a twin to the Mazda BT-50, and promises to be a more upmarket, refined, and capable ute than its rugged predecessor.

Isuzu has confirmed when it'll release local pricing and specs for its third-generation D-Max, which will arrive in Australian dealerships from 1 September.
