Volkswagen has issued a recall for its 2021 Polo due to a defective sunroof.
“Due to a manufacturing issue, the sunroof frame may not have been bonded correctly to the body and could become loose and detach from the vehicle,” the company says in its recall notice.
“If the sunroof frame detaches from the vehicle there is an increased risk of injury or death to road users.”

If you own an affected vehicle, you’ll need to contact a Volkswagen dealership to organise a free inspection and repair.
If you have any further questions, you can contact Volkswagen on 1800 504 076.
