Ateco Automotive is recalling the 2021 Ram 2500 and 3500 pickup trucks due to a fire risk.
“Due to a manufacturing issue, the intake air heater relay may experience an electrical short. This may even occur when the ignition is OFF and could result in an engine compartment fire,” the company said in its recall notice.
“A vehicle fire could increase the risk of an accident, serious injury or death to vehicle occupants, other road users or bystanders.”

If you own an affected vehicle, you should contact a Ram dealership immediately to schedule the free repair.
