Is there anything you can’t transform a Suzuki Jimny into?
Japanese car modification company Garage Ill has created a new fascia kit for the current-generation Suzuki Jimny that makes it look like the current Ford Bronco.
The so-called Bron55 kit is available on the regular JB74W model, as well as the Japanese-market JB64W kei-car variant, and brings changes that appear to be limited to the front end.
The kit comprises a Bronco-like grille with ‘BRON55’ lettering across it, revised headlights with LED daytime running lights, as well as a different front bumper with what appear to be two towing points.
In Japan the full kit for Jimny models that have halogen headlights is ¥220,000 (~A$2300), whereas the kit with models that have LED headlights costs ¥245,000 (~A$2600).
It’s unclear if this bodykit for the Suzuki Jimny is being offered or shipped outside of Japan.
This isn’t the first time the current-generation Suzuki Jimny has served as a base for body kits that resemble other vehicles.
These include bodykits for the Jimny that transform it into a Mercedes-Benz G-Wagen, previous-generation Land Rover Defender, as well as the original Ford Bronco.
