Jaguar Land Rover Australia is recalling 14 examples of the Jaguar F-Type, F-Pace, XE and XF due to a manufacturing defect that may cause the seatbelt pre-tensioner to not work properly.
This recall affects F-Type, F-Pace, XE and XF models produced in 2022.
“Due to a manufacturing defect, a damaged front seat belt pre-tensioner tube may have been installed on the seat belt retractor,” said the company in its recall notice.
“As a result the seat belt pre-tensioner may not operate as intended.”

Jaguar Land Rover Australia has also recalled a number of Land Rover models for the same reason.
If you own an affected vehicle, Jaguar Land Rover Australia will notify you to take your vehicle to an approved Jaguar Land Rover repairer to have the work carried out as soon as possible, free of charge.
If you have any further questions you can call the Jaguar Land Rover Australia Customer Relationship Centre on 1300 787 803.
