Mercedes-Benz S-Class recalled
An airbag control unit fault has led Mercedes-Benz to recall 193 examples of its redesigned S450 sedan.

Mercedes-Benz has recalled its redesigned S-Class due to an airbag fault.
“Due to a software issue with the airbag control unit, the front passenger airbag may become deactivated,” the company says in its recall notice.
“If the airbag is deactivated in the event of an accident, this may increase the risk of injury or death to vehicle occupant.”
- The recall affects 193 S450 models from 2021

If you own an affected S450, you’ll need to contact a Mercedes-Benz dealership to organise a free repair.
