Mercedes-Benz Marco Polo recalled

Mercedes-Benz Australia is recalling 33 examples of its V-Class-based Marco Polo camper van due to a manufacturing issue that may cause a wiring harness to become damaged and potentially short circuit.

This recall affects Marco Polo models produced in 2021.

“Due to a manufacturing issue, the wiring harness may become damaged and could result in function failures, or a short circuit,” said the company in its recall notice.

“This could cause a vehicle fire.”

If you own an affected vehicle you’ll need to contact your nearest authorised Mercedes-Benz dealer to have the work carried out as soon as possible, free of charge.
