Isuzu Ute Australia has recalled the 2021 D-Max ute fitted with the Genuine Isuzu Canopy Roof Rack.
“The internal bracing upper mounts for the Genuine Isuzu Canopy Roof Rack may not meet the manufacturing specifications, should the mount become loose or detached it could result in damage to the canopy shell if remained undetected,” the recall notice says.
“If the roof rack becomes loose or detached while loaded this could result in the load being lost. Additionally, in the event of an accident the roof rack may detach increasing the risk of injury or death to vehicle occupants and other road users.”

Isuzu Ute Australia will contact owners of the affected vehicles and advise them to organise a free fix with their nearest dealer.
