Hyundai's rally team hilariously recreates GTA VI trailer

Grand Theft Auto VI may be the most anticipated video game of all time, given it has been over a decade since the last GTA title debuted, and Hyundai’s rally team has tapped into the buzz.

After the long-awaited first trailer dropped in December 2023, the Hyundai Motorsport team has dropped Grand TestAuto XXIV: their version of the video, including some shot-for-shot recreations of key scenes.

Like the trailer, it’s set to Love Is A Long Road by Tom Petty, with WRC champion Ott Tänak and teammate Thierry Neuville assuming the roles of Lucia and her male partner, and others like co-driver Martin Jarveoja portraying other characters seen in the trailer.

While you’ll be waiting until 2025 for the next GTA title, there’ll be action from Hyundai’s team before then as the 2024 WRC season kicks off at the end of this month.
