Genesis is recalling its GV60 electric SUV as it could experience a sudden loss of power.
“Due to a manufacturing defect, the vehicle’s rear driveshaft may fracture resulting in a sudden reduction of motive power,” the company says in its recall notice.
“A sudden reduction of motive power while driving increases the risk of an accident, causing serious injury or death to vehicle occupants and/or other road users.”

If you own an affected vehicle, you’ll need to make an appointment with a Genesis dealership to have a free fix carried out.
If you have any further questions, you can contact Genesis on 1800 908 070.
