BMW Australia has recalled its i7 and 740i due to an issue with the windscreen wipers.
“The front windshield wipers may fail. In the event of rain this may lead to poor visibility for the driver,” the company says in its recall notice.
“Poor visibility will potentially increase the risk of an accident, causing serious injury or death to vehicle occupants and other road users.”

If you own an affected vehicle, you’ll need to contact your local authorised BMW dealership or BMW Australia to have the work carried out, free of charge.
If you have any further questions, you can contact BMW Australia on 1800 243 675.
