The 2026 Volkswagen Amarok Dark Label V6 has launched in Australia, offering buyers a blacked-out version of the dual-cab ute.

Based on the Style and priced from $76,990 drive-away, the Amarok Dark Label is limited to just 200 vehicles, and comes with dark exterior design elements including smoked halogen tail-lights and 20-inch alloy wheels in matte black.

As exclusively reported by CarExpert in December 2025, Volkswagen has dropped its four-cylinder turbo-diesel engines from the Amarok range – leaving the 3.0-litre turbo-diesel V6 and a 2.3-litre turbo-petrol four-cylinder engine in a single variant.

The Amarok Dark Label is powered by the former, with the turbo-diesel V6 putting out 184kW and 600Nm, driving all four wheels through a 10-speed automatic transmission.

The limited-edition ute also features privacy tint, a front skid plate in black, black side steps and roof rails, a sports bar powder-coated in black, and Dark Label decals.

Inside, it gets unique branding on the steering wheel, a Dark Label seat package in Art Velour, a black headliner, and unique floor mats.

    • 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster
    • 12-inch infotainment touchscreen
