Ford has increased prices of its Everest SUV by up to $1625, even as it has removed features.
“The price adjustments are consistent with the evaluation of market conditions we regularly undertake across our product portfolio, which take into consideration a number of different external factors such as currency and material cost considerations,” said a Ford Australia spokesperson.
The price increases apply to all cars invoiced after June 1, 2024.

CarExpertreported in April the Everest was losing some features for what Ford calls model year 2024.5.
The Everest loses hands-free functionality for its power tailgate, while automatic high-beam becomes exclusive to the flagship Platinum.
Also axed is Ford MyKey functionality, which allows you to program certain settings like a maximum speed limit for other drivers.

“We make changes to the rollout of certain features based on a range of factors, from external market evaluation to customer demand,” a Ford spokesperson told CarExpert in April.
Ford Australia did announce various feature additions to the Everest range earlier this year.
These include standard zone lighting and stand-off roof rails on the Everest Trend and Sport (previously only standard on Platinum) and optional Pro Trailer Backup Assist on the Everest Trend, Sport and Platinum.
