The 2024 Audi RS4 Avant and RS5 Sportback’s long-awaited Competition variants are finally coming to Australia soon, carrying a premium over the regular models of almost $14,000.

While previous reports suggested the Competition package would replace the standard RS4 Avant (wagon) and RS5 Sportback, Audi Australia has confirmed the upgrades are a limited-run optional add-on.

The Competition package adds $13,990 to the price of both models, bringing the RS4 Avant Competition to $181,590 before on-road costs, while the RS5 Sportback Competition jumps up to $184,590 before on-road costs.

The Competition package won’t be available for the RS5 Coupe, which remains a part of the local lineup and has undergone a price increase alongside the base RS4 Avant and RS5 Sportback.

As previously reported, the Competition-equipped RS4 and RS5 gain a lighter exhaust system, a retuned eight-speed automatic transmission, 20-inch milled alloy wheels (shod in grippier Pirelli P Zero tyres), adjustable coilover suspension and a faster ratio steering rack.

Audi Australia says it will have limited availability of the RS4 Avant and RS5 Sportback Competition, though a specific number hasn’t been announced.

The 2024 Audi RS4 Avant and RS5 Sportback Competition are due in Australia mid-year.
