The Audi RS4 is the high-performance version of Audi's compact wagon formula, combining serious pace with everyday practicality. Best known in Avant form, it pairs a muscular turbocharged engine with quattro all-wheel drive, a quick-shifting automatic transmission and a chassis tuned for fast road driving in all weather. The RS4 has always appealed because it avoids the bulk of a large SUV while delivering genuine family usability and discreet performance. It is more compact and subtle than the RS6, but still carries the full Audi Sport character: strong acceleration, confident traction and a premium cabin. For drivers who want a fast wagon with real-world usefulness, the RS4 remains one of Audi's defining performance models.
