- More practical than a coupe...
Cons
- ...but less practical than cheaper RS4 Avant
- Interior looking a bit old
- Some plasticky switchgear

The Audi RS5 is the performance flagship of the A5 family, offering a more dramatic and focused alternative to the regular A5 and S5. It combines Audi Sport power, quattro all-wheel drive and a more aggressive chassis tune with coupe-like styling and a premium cabin. Depending on body style and generation, the RS5 has appealed as both a stylish performance coupe and a more practical Sportback. Its strengths are effortless pace, all-weather traction and a polished long-distance feel. It is not as raw as some rear-wheel-drive rivals, but that is part of its character: the RS5 delivers speed and security with the refinement expected from Audi's performance division.
