Like its more practical sibling, the Porsche Cayenne Coupe will be gaining some extra aggro with its next makeover.

This prototype spied overnight has the same front-end changes that were spotted on a pre-production Cayenne SUV last month.

At the front there’s a new set of headlights with revised internal graphics, and a more aggressive bumper treatment, which features larger intakes and bold horizontal bars.

An early prototype of Cayenne SUV was fitted with a revised tailgate that had new lights and the licence plate moved down into the bumper.

Given the Coupe already has a lower licence plate housing, it’s not clear, at this stage, if the production version will come with a new tail-light treatment.

Although our spy agency didn’t manage to snap any pictures of the Cayenne Coupe’s interior, last month’s Cayenne photos revealed the crossover will be fitted with a fully digital instrument cluster and Porsche’s latest infotainment infotainment system.

As with the current Cayenne and Cayenne Coupe pair, the updated models should share their interior and drivetrain offerings.
