The sumptuous Volvo XC90 Excellence has been recalled due to a fault with its rear control display.

The Excellence featured a four-seat layout with a full-length console, refrigerator and folding tables, plus a rear-seat display screen for which the recall has been issued.

“If there is liquid or liquid droplets on the rear seat control display, the system may perceive this as a constant touch,” Volvo Car Australia says in its recall notice.

“If this occurs when the front passenger seat control is selected, the front passenger seat may be moved forward or backwards until it reaches its end position.

“This may result in injury to vehicle occupants.”

    • Vehicles were available for sale from July 1, 2017 to August 30, 2020
