Audi Australia has recalled the 2016-19 Q7, SQ7, and Q8 SUVs over concerns about the steering mechanism.

Audi says the bolted connection between the steering shaft and rack might not be tightened correctly, which could make the connection come loose.

If the connection comes loose the driver could lose control of the steering, creating a risk of accident or injury to occupants and other road users.

    • A total of 24 cars are included in the recall
    • A VIN list of affected vehicles is attached here
    • The original recall notice is attached here

Audi will contact owners of the affected vehicles and advise them to organise a free fix with their nearest dealer.
