BYD Shark 6 Comparison

The 2024 BYD Shark 6 is a dual-cab 4x4 ute, but not as you know it. Priced from just $57,900 plus on-road costs, it's Australia's first plug-in hybrid ute and it's powered by a dual-motor all-wheel drive system that outputs no less than 321kW of power and 650Nm of torque.

The BYD Shark 6 range will be expanded via other variants in future, and joins the growing list of models from the fast-growing Chinese auto brand, including the pioneering Atto 3 and Sealion 6 mid-sized electric SUVs, the Dolphin small electric hatch and the Seal mid-sized electric sedan, all backed by a six-year, 150,000km warranty.
