The Ford Fiesta is a discontinued light hatch that built a strong reputation for sharp handling, compact dimensions and an unusually engaging driving feel. In Australia it was best remembered in later years for the Fiesta ST hot hatch, which brought genuine performance-car character to a small, affordable package. The regular Fiesta range has left the local market, reflecting Ford's move away from small passenger cars and toward utes, SUVs, vans and performance models. Existing examples still appeal to drivers who want a city car with more personality than most rivals. The ST remains the standout, combining turbocharged punch, precise steering and everyday usability in a small footprint.
