Dave Kavermann

Dave’s journey in the automotive industry started early, working in new car sales fresh out of school.

After a stint racing 150cc, 250cc and F3 motorcycles, it was clear he was never going to be the next Valentino Rossi. So Dave put away his leathers and picked up a camera, before co-founding New Zealand Motorsport Annual with his father, and then becoming an accredited Motorsport New Zealand and V8 Supercars photographer, ultimately leading to a job as a motoring journalist for The New Zealand Herald.

After subsequent stints in radio, charity PR and communications, and business, Dave returns to the world he knows best – behind the wheel of a car.

Outside the office, Dave is likely scouring the internet for his next car or associated parts, pretending to be Max Verstappen in Gran Turismo, tending to his dog, or spending as much time as possible at the beach.
