Overall, are you satisfied with your ownership experience so far?

Yes. This is the 4th Subaru that I have purchased, mainly due to the reliability & excellent resale value. I purchased the vehicle via a broker which saved me several thousand dollars off the RRP.
I am very happy with the buying process & the vehicle.

David’s experience with the 2025 Subaru Forester S6

This new model Forester is much quieter and smoother on the road.
I am having trouble with the tech, as Subaru have done away with many switches and now everything is done by touch on the large screen.
I am very happy with the new interactive cruise control which reads the roadside speed signs and automatically adjusts the vehicle speed. It even indicates when the school zones are active, which is quite handy.

There is plenty of room in the back when the rear seats are lowered & it accommodates my golf clubs & ride-on buggy with room to spare.
The economy appears to be similar to my previous 2019 Forester, averaging around 8 litres per 100 kms. It is good that this car runs on 91 or E10 fuel which saves money as opposed to the more expensive higher octane fuel.
Another important point to consider is that the Forester is equipped with a full-size spare wheel. I rejected several other makes of SUVs due to this point.

Another point to consider when buying an SUV is the national service network. Many of the SUVs imported from Asia are lacking in this regard.
