    • Parts expensive

Have you experienced any reliability issues with your vehicle since you purchased it?

    No.

Have you had to make any warranty claims?

    Yes.

The auto start/stop battery, and also some engine voltage issue. The dealer just claimed directly when doing maintenance, no hassle.

All faulty parts under warranty are resolved right away, and clearly communicated when I need to pay for the repairs.

Has your vehicle been serviced at least once since you took ownership?

    Yes.

I service regularly at a certified Volvo dealer. Been to two dealers, both of them are good, and welcoming when I step in.

Volvo definitely requires them to serve customers to certain standards. I feel the same, and all clear communicated before and after.

Overall, are you satisfied with your ownership experience so far?

    Yes.

Pretty good car, lots of power, the L2 assist driving function is really reliable and easy to use. Feel safe always in there.

Comfortable to drive, handling and everything was good. Maintaining parts like the brake pads and rotors is probably a bit expensive.

Woody’s experience with the 2020 Volvo XC60 Momentum

As a family car, the XC60 is definitely a good choice. Safety, as the brand always insists on, definitely makes you feel comfortable and settled whenever you drive it.

The engine is powerful and very punchy whenever you need it. Especially when you are on the motorway, just step on the pedal, accelerate quickly and smoothly.

Running-wise, it's not cheap, honestly, but I fully understand that you cannot have a powerful engine that drinks less.

I replaced brake pads and rotor only, honestly, not cheap.

However, I always feel welcomed every time went to a dealer to maintain it, service is easy and no hassle. Insurance-wise, probably $1300-1500 a year.

Every coin has two sides. The biggest issue I think is the infotainment system, sometimes it freezes in the middle of driving, it doesn't affect the driving function, but just annoying when you need the navigation.

In general, Volvo is a reliable, good-looking, and wonderful car.
