The new Mazda 3 is a small car offered in both 4D Hatchback and 5D Hatchback body styles. Available in Australia from $20,990 (MLRP, excl. on-roads) for the NEO variant and topping out at $43,690 for the MPS Sports Pack.

Engine options include 2L multi-point injection (108kW/182Nm), 2.3L multi-point injection (115kW/203Nm), 2L turbo diesel common rail (105kW/360Nm) and 2.3L turbo petrol direct injection (190kW/380Nm). Available with 5-speed manual, 4-speed automatic, 6-speed manual or 5-speed automatic transmissions. All variants feature front-wheel drive.
The new 2006 Mazda 3 is offered with a 3 year, unlimited km warranty.
